If you are trying to cover a large distance with your microwave link or maybe you don’t have direct line of sight, you may need to use a midpoint/relay which simply receives and demodulates the carrier (see microwave receiver for audio) and transmits it again (see microwave link transmitter for audio). You can use as many midpoints as you like changing directions at each ‘hop’ however keep in mind that it will introduce more noise and interference onto the audio.

The finished box

I added a pot (47K) on the front of the box that tunes the Satcan. It can be adjusted to avoid feedback – like with any relay point it needs to receive on one frequency range and transmit on another.
